Christian Formation
At Abundant Life Christian School, we believe education is about far more than academics—it is about shaping hearts, minds, and lives for Christ. As an extension of our mission to partner with families to nurture the whole child by preparing students to follow Christ and achieve personal and academic potential, we are committed to creating an environment where faith is woven naturally into every aspect of the school day.
We recognize that parents are a child’s first and most important spiritual influence, and we consider it a privilege to partner with families during these foundational years. Together, we seek to help students develop a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ, cultivate biblical character, and build a faith that extends beyond the classroom and into everyday life.
Christian formation at ALCS is intentional. Through daily Bible instruction, weekly Chapel, prayer, Scripture memorization, worship, classroom discussions, service opportunities, and Christ-centered relationships with teachers, students are encouraged to see every subject and every experience through the truth of God’s Word. Our faculty strives to model the love, grace, and wisdom of Christ while creating opportunities for students to ask thoughtful questions, grow in their understanding of Scripture, and learn how to apply biblical truth to real-life situations.
As students grow, so does the way we disciple them. Age-appropriate opportunities are intentionally designed to help children develop spiritual disciplines, strengthen their Christian worldview, and discover what it means to seek God’s Kingdom first in every area of life. We desire for every graduate to leave ALCS not only with a strong academic foundation, but with a faith that is personal, authentic, and equipped to influence the world for Christ.
Our goal is not simply to teach students about God, but to encourage them to know Him, love Him, and faithfully follow Him throughout their lives.
Christian School & Childcare
Athletics
At Abundant Life Christian School, we believe athletics are an extension of the classroom—providing students with opportunities to grow not only in athletic ability, but also in character, leadership, and faith. Through competition, students learn valuable life lessons in perseverance, humility, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship while representing Christ both on and off the field.
Our coaches are dedicated to creating a positive, encouraging environment where every student is challenged to develop their skills, support their teammates, and compete with integrity. Whether celebrating victory or learning through defeat, our goal is to help students honor God in the way they compete, respond, and lead.
Middle School Basketball
Each winter, students in grades 6–8 have the opportunity to participate on our Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball Teams, competing against other local Christian schools throughout the season.
Our Boys’ Team is coached by Mr. Glines, our Middle School Bible and History teacher, while our Girls’ Team is coached by Mrs. Peralta, our Spanish teacher and School Counselor. Their investment in students extends beyond the gym as they mentor athletes both spiritually and personally, encouraging them to pursue excellence with Christ-like character.
Coming Fall 2026: Cross Country
We are excited to continue growing our athletic program with the addition of a Middle School Cross Country Team beginning in Fall 2026. This new opportunity will allow students to challenge themselves individually while encouraging one another as teammates, developing endurance, determination, and a lifelong appreciation for healthy living.
As our athletic program continues to grow, our commitment remains the same: to develop student-athletes who compete with excellence, encourage one another, and glorify God through every practice, every game, and every finish line.

Clubs
Learning doesn’t end when the school day is over. At Abundant Life Christian School, our clubs provide students with opportunities to discover new interests, strengthen existing talents, and build meaningful relationships with their peers in a fun, Christ-centered environment.
Led by our dedicated faculty, each club is designed to encourage creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and personal growth while giving students the opportunity to explore areas they are passionate about. Club offerings vary by grade level and season, with new opportunities continuing to be added as our school grows.
Book Club
Our 5th Grade Book Club, led by our school librarian, Mrs. Grimley, encourages a love of reading through engaging discussions, collaborative activities, and thoughtfully selected books. Students develop comprehension, communication skills, and a lifelong appreciation for literature while building friendships with fellow readers.
Drama Club
Students with a passion for performing can express their creativity through our Drama Club, led by Mrs. Schneider, our Middle School English Language Arts teacher. Through acting, storytelling, and performance, students build confidence, communication skills, teamwork, and stage presence while bringing stories to life.
STEM Robotics Club
Our STEM Robotics Club gives students the opportunity to explore the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through hands-on design, building, coding, and problem-solving challenges. Working collaboratively, students develop critical thinking, creativity, and engineering skills while discovering how innovation can be used to solve real-world problems.

Before and After School Care
At Abundant Life Christian School, we understand that many families need flexible childcare options before and after the school day. Our Morning Care and Extended Day programs provide students with a safe, caring, and supervised environment where they can begin and end their day with trusted staff and friends.
Morning Care
Our Morning Care program is available beginning at 7:15 a.m. Students enjoy a calm, welcoming environment where they can ease into the day by reading, completing homework, or participating in quiet activities under the supervision of our staff.
Extended Day
Our Extended Day program is available from 3:00–5:30 p.m. and offers a balance of homework support, recreation, and social interaction. Parents have the flexibility to pick up their child any time before 5:30 p.m. Students are provided with an afternoon snack and have time to complete homework, play outdoors (weather permitting), and enjoy a variety of indoor games and activities with their classmates.
Our goal is to provide families with dependable, high-quality care while giving students a positive extension of their school day in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment.

Technology
At Abundant Life Christian School, we believe technology is a powerful educational tool when used with purpose and balance. Rather than replacing quality instruction, technology enhances learning by helping students research, create, collaborate, and develop the digital skills they will need for high school, college, and beyond.
Our technology program is intentionally designed to grow with each student, introducing new skills at age-appropriate levels while maintaining a healthy balance between hands-on learning and digital instruction.
Elementary (Kindergarten–Grade 5)
Elementary students utilize a shared Chromebook cart, with technology instruction increasing as students progress through each grade level. In the primary grades, students use Chromebooks to work in IXL, an adaptive online learning platform that provides personalized practice in math and language arts, reinforcing classroom instruction while helping students build confidence and master foundational skills. Beginning in 3rd grade, students learn keyboarding and other essential computer skills. By 4th and 5th grade, technology instruction expands to include Google Docs, online research, presentations, and responsible digital citizenship. Students in Kindergarten through 5th grade typically use Chromebooks for one to two hours each week, ensuring technology enhances learning while preserving valuable hands-on instruction and collaboration.
Middle School (Grades 6–8)
Middle school students participate in a 1:1 Chromebook program, giving each student access to a device throughout the school day. Technology is integrated into daily learning as students conduct research, write papers, collaborate on projects, create presentations, and strengthen the digital literacy skills needed for future academic success. Teachers intentionally incorporate technology where it enhances learning while continuing to emphasize critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and meaningful classroom discussion.
To promote a focused learning environment, personal electronic devices are not permitted during the school day. All school-issued devices operate on our secure, content-filtered wireless network, providing students with safe and appropriate access to online educational resources.
At ALCS, we believe technology should support—not replace—the relationships, hands-on experiences, and Christ-centered instruction that are at the heart of an exceptional education.

Chapel
At Abundant Life Christian School, chapel is the heart of our spiritual life together. Each week, students gather as a school community to worship God, grow in their faith, and be encouraged through the truth of His Word. Chapel is more than a weekly gathering—it is an opportunity for students to develop a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ while learning to worship alongside their classmates and teachers.
Our chapel services provide meaningful opportunities for students to pray, sing, hear biblical teaching, and reflect on how God’s Word applies to their everyday lives. Each year’s chapel theme is centered around our annual school theme verse, helping students explore important biblical truths and life topics that encourage spiritual growth, Christ-like character, and a deeper understanding of what it means to follow Jesus. Throughout the year, we also gather for special all-school chapels, bringing our elementary and middle school students together to worship as one school family.
Elementary Chapel
Elementary Chapel is led by our Vice Principal, Mrs. Seanna Lemos, and meets weekly for an engaging, age-appropriate worship experience. Each chapel begins with prayer and worship before students dive into an interactive biblical lesson using the GO! Curriculum. Through Scripture, discussion, object lessons, and real-life application, students learn how God’s Word speaks into everyday situations while building a strong foundation of faith that they can carry throughout their lives.
Middle School (Grades 6–8)
Middle School Chapel is led by our Chapel Coordinator, Pastor Luc Hardin, the Youth and Worship Pastor at Abundant Life Church. Each week, students gather for worship, prayer, Bible studies, and messages designed to help them grow in their personal relationship with Christ while thoughtfully applying biblical truth to the unique opportunities and challenges of the middle school years.
Throughout the year, students also hear from guest speakers who share biblical encouragement and practical wisdom from their own experiences. Once each month, our Middle School Worship Band leads the school in worship, giving students the opportunity to use their gifts to serve others and lead their peers in praising God.
Whether in elementary, middle school, or gathered together as one school family, chapel remains a cornerstone of life at ALCS—pointing students to Christ, encouraging them to seek Him first, and equipping them to live out their faith with confidence both inside and outside the classroom.
