Toddler
For children ages 15 months to 33 months.
Toddlers make leaps and bounds with their communication, problem solving, fine motor movement, and social skills. Our Toddler program allows children to thrive during this formative time.
-
Children are given plenty of time to go outside to play or visit the gym for fun activities. It gives them ample opportunities to practice gross motor skills and have time to make and play with friends.
-
Children have opportunity to play in different areas of the classrooms. Dramatic play, book area, sensory tables and play structures are examples of such areas. Teachers treat students with respect, care, and the love of Christ. Kids are taught social skills and how to handle disagreements with others in a safe and supportive environment.
-
Our teachers are experienced and supportive as your child begins to show readiness for toileting habits. Kids are taught about classroom cleanliness and personal hygiene. Related activities include handwashing, taking out the trash, putting toys away and wiping tables.
-
Teachers provide a language rich environment. Children expand their vocabulary through conversation, singing worship songs, and reading books.
-
Families and teachers communicate regularly at drop off, pick up and through our ProCare app. Teachers update parents about their child's day, upcoming events, what's being taught in class.
Developmental assessments are shared twice annually, updating families on progress in the areas of social/emotional, cognition, language/literacy, fine & gross motor skills and early mathematics. .
