Abundant Life Childcare to Expand with Major Investment from Charitable Partner

Abundant Life Childcare (ALC), a ministry of Abundant Life Church of Wilmington (AL), is excited to announce that it is expanding its childcare facility.  

For parents of young children, choosing a reliable childcare provider is one of the most important decisions they’ll make. For over 40 years, Abundant Life Childcare has been partnering with parents to provide exceptional care and support, and is expanding its capacity to meet the needs of even more families. 

Slated for completion this summer, a total of $125,000 for the expansion will be funded through a generous investment and matching pledge from an anonymous Christian charitable foundation and matching private donations. 

As the only Christian childcare service offering full care from infancy through pre-kindergarten within a 200-square-mile radius, ALC provides something special. The dedicated team at ALC doesn’t just care for children—they nurture and guide them, making sure that every child feels known and loved.

Sherri Patrie, Co-Director of Abundant Life Childcare, emphasized, “We know how hard it is for parents to entrust their precious children to someone else. We want to be an extension of your family, building strong bonds with your children and keeping open lines of communication. This new space will not only allow us to serve more children but will also improve our ability to provide top-notch care.”

To fully maximize the matching pledge of our charitable partner, Abundant Life has been challenged to raise $50,000 through private charitable donations.
