Pre-Kindergarten
For children entering Kindergarten the following September
Pre-Kindergarten gives your child the ability to learn and engage in a larger classroom setting, while still balancing play with learning.
-
Our Pre-Kindergarten introduces and develops the skills needed to succeed in kindergarten and beyond. Children build social skills through play with their friends both in the classroom and on the playground. Outdoor time and physical activity are prioritized daily.
-
Academic units introduced are letter shapes and sounds, identifying and drawing shapes, basic mathematics using numbers and critical thinking.
Our curriculum is made up of seasonal and subject units. Each unit includes several hands-on opportunities to craft, build and paint.
-
Children learn Bible stories and songs throughout the year and perform a re-enactment of the Christmas story for their families.
-
Benefits of our Pre-K program are that students graduate into kindergarten with confidence, learn the basic tenets of the Christian faith and the social skills needed to succeed beyond kindergarten.
